Edward Arthur Steadman was my great grandfather. According to CWGC, the date that he fell in battle is 11th September 1917, not the 9th November 1917 as you have stated above. He is commemorated at TyneCot Memorial in Belgium, where we have laid a cross, and hope to visit again on the centenary of his death.
